The Perth Mint has created an exceptional design for the Year of the Rabbit Gold series. An image of the Rabbit is finely detailed on the reverse. The Chinese character for “rabbit” appears above with an inscription “Year of the Rabbit” below. The "P" mint mark for the Perth Mint also appears.
The obverse of the coin features Queen Elizabeth II. The inscriptions read "Elizabeth II", "Australia", the date "2011", "9999 Gold", and the weight and denomination of the coin.
