1897-P $20 Liberty Gold MS-63 Quality

We absolutely love the current value that can be found in Double Eagles from the late 1800s and early 1900s. We particularly look for issues with either low mintages, low survival rates, and particularly when they can be acquired at a very small premium in price to common dates like the 1904.

This 1897 Philly Double Eagle in Mint State 63 is considered a "Better Date" in the series. When compared to a common date, like the 1904, the 1897 is over 26 times more rare, yet it can be acquired for around only 20% more.

Excellent value for the money and it has .9675 oz. of pure gold to boot. Coin shown may not be the exact coin you receive.
