While both contain one-ounce of gold, many buyers prefer the 24-kt purity, and the celebration of the famous Buffalo Nickel designs modernized in a big gold coin with a unique textured finish.
For those that focus on owning the finest, only perfect Gold Buffaloes will do. Mint-State-70 represents just that – a grade of perfection by a trusted third-party grading service, in this case PCGS, eliminating those that left the mint with even minor imperfections.
Once graded, each Buffalo Gold Coin is “slabbed” or sealed in the hard plastic PCGS holder along with its grading certificate as pictured. PCGS boxes of 20-coins are available at a discount for larger orders.
