The Indian Head $2 1/2 gold coin, referred to as an Indian Quarter-Eagle, was struck from 1908 through 1929. They are the first U.S. coins to employ an "incuse" design, in which the design details of the coin are carved into the coin. Each one contains just under an eighth of pure gold. Every coin in this section has not been graded by either PCGS or NGC, but have been inspected and guaranteed by our numismatists. Questions? Call 1-800-928-6468 and we'll be happy to help.
