This stunning 1801 Chilean 8 Escudo gold coin was struck at the Santiago Mint (marked "So") under the reign of King Carlos IV. Certified by NGC in About Uncirculated 58 condition, this impressive specimen boasts remarkable eye appeal with strong detail and rich luster.

On the obverse, you’ll find a right-facing, laureate bust of King Carlos IV with the classic inscription “CAROL. IIII…”—a regal portrayal of the Spanish monarch.
