When compared to US silver dollars from the same period, Mexican Silver 8 Reales are far and away more rare overall and in high grades.
The design is really beautiful with a liberty cap in the center and several rays radiating outwards. The reverse eagle is boldly struck with great detail and the coin is blast white, truly a gem specimen. Under 200 are known in all grades combined with this coin being well in the top 20% of all known survivors. Great coin for the price, for sure.
