This stunning issue commemorates the independence of Texas in 1836, with the large lone star found on the Obverse.
This three-coin set contains one coin from each mint issued in 1936: Philly, San Fran, and Denver. Each of the three issues had a mintage of around 9,000 coins so they are quite rare in any condition, especially in the high grade of Mint State 66 found here.
