American Eagles are not only the most popular gold coins in the U.S., they’re in high demand across the globe as one of the most known and respected modern bullion coins in the world. The 1-oz. size is the largest of the four Eagles and is truly impressive.

Given that reputation and their beauty, many prefer to own perfect specimens or what is called Mint State-70 quality as graded by NGC, one of the top two grading and certification companies in the coin market. Only the finest Eagles make the cut as minor imperfections created during the minting process can result in a lower grade.

Graded coins are sealed in rectangular NGC slabs for protection which include their grading certificate guaranteeing their perfect MS-70 grade.
