Herennia Etruscilla served as Augusta of the Roman Empire during the reign of her husband, Trajan Decius (AD 249-251), and continued to hold the title under her son Hostilian until approximately AD 253. Her coinage was struck at the Rome mint during a period of political turbulence and military crisis, as the empire faced Gothic invasions and internal instability. This silver double-denarius, also known as an antoninianus, is certified by NGC Ancients and graded About Uncirculated.

The obverse features a draped bust of Etruscilla facing right, wearing a stephane set upon a crescent, with the legend HER ETRVSCILLA AVG. The portrait displays strong detail in the hair and drapery, with clear legend definition around the periphery. The reverse depicts Pudicitia seated left, holding a transverse scepter in her right hand and drawing a veil with her left, surrounded by the legend PVDICITIA AVG - a type emphasizing the virtue of modesty traditionally associated with Roman empresses.
