Piedfort comes from the French word "pied-fort", which translates to "heavy weight." It is used to describe a specially issued coin which is thicker and heavier than the usual specifications. The reverse depicts a mother Kookaburra perched in its nest with its offspring. The design also includes radial lines and the "P" mintmark. Queen Elizabeth II, the 2020 date, the weight and purity, and the monetary denomination are shown on the reverse as you can see below.
