Since January 2000, silver is up 2,080% and gold 1,765% - more than four times the S&P 500's 400% return. The U.S. has the world's best-performing stock market, yet precious metals have dramatically outpaced it this century.
Why is silver moving so explosively? Three reasons: it always outperforms gold in bull markets, it's actually scarcer than gold above ground (most has been permanently consumed in industrial use), and virtually no one owns it yet - silver represents just 0.05% to 0.1% of global investment assets.
