Limited to a production of just 225,000 sets, the collection includes one example from each of the four major mints still in operation - Philadelphia, Denver, San Francisco and West Point. Not only do they all employ the High Relief used during the mintage of the original 1964 Kennedy Half Dollar, each coin also has a strikingly different finish.
Issued to commemorate the 50th Anniversary of the 1964 Kennedy Silver Half Dollar, these 2014 Kennedy's are struck in 90 percent Silver in four stunning finishes:
- A reverse proof coin from the United States Mint at West Point
- A proof coin from the United States Mint at Philadelphia
- An "enhanced" uncirculated coin from the United States Mint at San Francisco
- An uncirculated coin from the United States Mint at Denver
Furthermore, each example in this release has been inspected by the experts at the Professional Coin Grading Service (PCGS) and received a perfect 70 grade. They will also carry an exclusive First Strike Kennedy Label inside of the holder, of which just over 500 exist. Included on this label, only available in this release, is Kennedy's most famous quote - "Ask not what your country can do for you - but what you can do for your country" along with a monogrammed signature from one of the most respected and endeared presidents in U.S. history.
