Top Gold Recommendation: $10 Liberty Head Gold in Mint State 64 for $1,289 each!
After rising 15% so far in 2016, gold is quickly approaching the critical $1,300 per ounce level. The rapid move in bullion has created some great opportunities in the Pre-1933 Gold marketplace.
A few weeks ago we suggested $5 Liberties certified in Mint State 64. S
ince then, they have risen from $695 to $795 each, a 15% jump in price.
Congratulations if you took our advice!
The same research that generated our last recommendation has led us to a second opportunity that is similarly overlooked. In fact, these coins are trading at the same price level that they were when gold was under $1,100 per ounce.
Maximum Value in Today's Marketplace
$10 Liberties were struck in relatively large numbers and used as circulating currency from 1838-1907. Today, average quality $10 Liberties sell for around $725 each since they contain nearly a half-ounce of gold and because they're all over 100 years old.
In our opinion, the greatest profit opportunity lies in investment-grade, Mint State 64 examples, which are selling at the lowest premium over their gold weight in almost 15 years.
If that's not enough, h
ere are a few other reasons why they're our top recommendation at this moment in time:
- True Scarcity: While roughly 37 million were struck from 1866-1907, only 22,000 (under 6/10ths of a percent) have attained the lofty MS-64 grade level with very few known finer.
- Mispriced Compared to Other Grades: In MS-63, $10 Liberties trade for around $930 each. In MS-65 they jump to over $3,000 each, making MS-64's the obvious choice.
- Best Price in Years: Five years ago these very same coins sold for $2,500 - $3,000 each.
- Tight Supplies: Much like the scenario we saw on the MS-64 $5 Libs, there are very few $10 Liberties in MS-64 available at current price levels.
From a cost per ounce standpoint, these are even cheaper than the $5 Liberties we recently promoted and they're actually more scarce. Like we've seen many times this decade, and most recently with $5 Liberties in MS-64, prices can move suddenly so it's important to take advantage while they're available and before prices push higher.
Orders of twenty or more will come in NGC slotted boxes for storage. You can save 2% with a check or wire. Supplies are very limited and we reserve the right to adjust pricing in the event of a sell-out.
