Introducing a Roman Imperatorial Marc Antony Silver Denarius, minted around 41 BC at a traveling military mint. This historical coin, with a weight of 3.96g, showcases the portrait of Marc Antony on the obverse, depicting his prominent role during a significant period in ancient history.

The reverse features a unique divinity, or one of many allegories (perhaps Liberalitas, Pax, Felicitas, or Aequitas) who is elegantly depicted facing left, holding a Cornucopia in her left hand, but we're not exactly sure what she is holding in her right hand. Certified by NGC as Extremely Fine, this remarkable coin boasts a remarkable strike quality of 4/5 and a surface rating of 3/5, reflecting its remarkable preservation over time.

This coin has an intriguing provenance, as it was part of the Bourgey collection in 1913 (reference 754). Owning this authentic piece of history allows you to connect with the fascinating past of Marc Antony and the political landscape of his time.  This is the ONLY example of this particular issue we can find any reference of and it is a beautifully toned, fully original specimen.  Truly museum quality in all regards.

This is the exact coin you will receive.
