2023 | Morgan Dollar | Peace Dollar

2021 was the 100th Anniversary of the Morgan Silver Dollar’s retirement and the introduction of the Peace Silver Dollar in 1921. In commemoration, the U.S. Mint issued an extremely popular, limited-edition series featuring one new Peace Dollar and five new Morgan Dollars.

In 2023, the U.S. Mint continues this new Silver Dollar tradition with three new releases all in limited mintages. Uncirculated, or Mint State, Morgan & Peace Dollars are due in July. Proof Morgan & Peace Dollars will follow in August with a 2-coin Reverse-Proof Set coming in the fall.

Their weight of .859-oz. of .999-fine silver makes each 2023 Morgan and Peace Silver Dollar even larger than their predecessors while modern minting technology and meticulous handling allow the historic designs to reach their full potential in detail and quality.
