2026 1/2-oz American Gold Eagle

The half-ounce American Gold Eagle carries the same recognition the full ounce does, at a price that puts a U.S. Mint gold coin within reach of more buyers. Each holds 1/2 troy oz of pure gold in a 22-karat alloy struck to .9167 fineness, with copper and silver added so the surfaces survive handling that would mark a softer coin. FINE GOLD. A reeded edge finishes both faces.
