2022 Gold and Silver Coinage of Queen Elizabeth Selling Out Fast

Austin Rare Coins has acquired a small quantity of the highly sought-after Gold Sovereigns from the 70^th Year Anniversary of Queen Elizabeth II as Monarch. Struck earlier this year to celebrate the “Platinum Jubilee”, these limited edition Gold Sovereigns now coincide with the year of Her Majesty’s passing, adding to their collectibility.

The obverse features the elder portrait of Queen Elizabeth II and the reverse shows the UK Royal Coat of Arms. The shield is held majestically by the Guardian Lion of England on the left, with the Scottish Unicorn on the right, and above the Coat of Arms is the Royal Crown. Each coin is legal tender struck in a gorgeous rose-gold color, with two sizes available.

As expected, Queen Elizabeth II graces the coin’s obverse while the reverse features Britannia standing along the coast with the Union Jack shield and an olive branch in her left hand, as well as the trident in her right hand. This symbolizes Great Britain’s strength and honor for generations. Small orders under 15-coins are generally delivered in individual “coin flips”, soft plastic envelopes that offer simple coin protection.
