1925-D $2.50 Indian Gold NGC MS-62

The 1925-D Quarter Eagle represents one of the final issues in the Indian Head series, struck at the Denver Mint during the mid-1920s economic prosperity. This $2.50 gold piece was minted in the waning years of regular gold coinage production, as the United States moved away from circulating gold coins following the economic upheavals of the early 20th century.
The obverse features Bela Lyon Pratt's distinctive incuse Indian Head design, with the Native American profile wearing a full feathered headdress, surrounded by thirteen stars and the inscription LIBERTY. The reverse displays a bold American eagle perched on a bundle of arrows and olive branch, with the motto IN GOD WE TRUST and E PLURIBUS UNUM clearly visible, along with the denomination 2½ DOLLARS.
This example has been graded MS-62 by NGC, indicating well-preserved mint state condition with attractive original surfaces and good eye appeal. The 1925-D issue remains popular among collectors of the Indian Head Quarter Eagle series, representing solid quality from this classic American gold coin design.
