2024 Morgan Silver Dollar PCGS MS-70 First Strike

The Uncirculated 2024 Morgan Dollar continues the modern phase of Silver Dollars initiated by the US Mint in 2021. These impressive .859-oz. Silver Dollars are the Morgan fulfilling its potential for quality and beauty thanks to today’s modern minting process.

When Morgans were being struck as silver dollars to be used as currency from 1878 to 1921, Philadelphia was the main branch of the United States Mint. As such, coins made at Philly bore no mint-mark which were saved for coins issued at the U.S. branch mints.

Keeping with that tradition, the new 2024 Morgan Silver Dollars are struck at the Philadelphia Mint but have no mint-mark. Only 275,000 were struck and these 2024 Morgans are amongst the few in perfect PCGS MS-70 quality.
